Former 3Com VP to Provide Strategic Channel Insight for Maximizing Partner Success

SAN MATEO, Calif. – April 21, 2008 – BLUEROADS today announced that Nick Tidd, former vice president of worldwide sales at 3Com, has joined the BLUEROADS Channel Advisory Council, an organization made of up of seasoned channel and business leaders aimed at enabling vendors and partners to improve their channel effectiveness and profitability.

Nick Tidd brings a unique perspective to the BLUEROADS Channel Advisory Council, frequently acknowledged by VARBusiness, a leading channel publication, as one of North America’s elite channel executives and honored by the magazine most recently in 2007 as one of the Top 60 Channel Executives. For the past several years, VARBusiness has also awarded the 3Com partner program with their highest ranking.

During his 15 year tenure with 3Com, he has held leadership roles including vice president of North American channel sales, vice president of worldwide sales, and vice president and managing director for the marketing, distribution and consumer business units of 3Com Canada. As vice president of worldwide sales at 3Com, Nick was responsible for managing 3Com’s go-to-market channel sales strategy supporting 107,000 resellers enrolled in the company's award-winning FOCUS partner program.
