BLUEROADS Raises the Standard for Deal Registration Programs

SAN MATEO, Calif. - November 15, 2006 - In 2004, BLUEROADS Corporation, a provider of enterprise channel management solutions, set the standard for deal registration by doing what no one else had done - created a system that partners actually used. BLUEROADS recognized that to be successful, both partner and vendor needed to view and share real-time status and feedback throughout the deal life cycle. Two years later, BLUEROADS raises the standard with the new version of BLUEROADS Deal Registration Manager.

With over 1300 partners using the system, BLUEROADS is consistently looking for new ways to enhance the product to maximize how vendors and partners alike execute a successful channel management strategy.

"We tap into both our incredible customer base and their partners during our product planning process to ensure that the improvements we make to our products will have a high impact on vendor and partner adoption and results," said Shinya Akamine, CEO, BLUEROADS Corporation. "A successful deal registration program is a two-way street and the open sharing of information is critical to maximizing the benefits of the program. BLUEROADS provides that trusted third party validation that results in an active partner community, which in turn impacts the bottom line."

In the new version, BLUEROADS builds on previous deep deal registration capabilities with the addition of multi-product functionality to deliver increased productivity for both partner and vendor. For partners, the new functionality enables them to quickly group multiple products and services as a single opportunity - including multiple products with associated line-item quantity and value; overall opportunity value; total eligible incentive amount; and related sales tips for every product to improve deal closure. Vendors will have a streamlined process for approving and rejecting specific line-items with the option to approve/reject all for simplified approval.

Additional product functionality includes:

  • Enhanced Web Services API: provides deep customized integration capabilities into existing systems of record at large enterprises
  • Multiple Programs: provides capabilities to simultaneously run many deal registration programs across different regions, with varying program criteria
  • Program Versioning: provides versioning of deal registration programs allowing existing deals that were approved against a previous program to continue to close out, while a refined program can be put into action

By providing partners with standardized and consistent real-time processes, BLUEROADS Deal Registration Manager not only reduces administrative burdens and related costs, but also helps vendors gain partner mind share and confidence.
